Myanmar exhibition at the “Five Continents Museum”, Munich

The former “State Museum of Ethnology”, Munich, Germany, now carries a new name: “Five Continents Museum”, more suitable for a modern day museum that focuses not only on ancient cultures but also showcases current trends and developments around the world. Do not miss the ongoing exhibition “Myanmar. Von Pagoden, Longyis und Nat-Geistern”. The catalogue with the same title by Dorothée Schäfer (ISBN 978-3422072671) is well worth a read, although unfortunatley, it has not been translated into English.
